MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be enrolled as a full-time Benedict College student.
2.Must maintain a minimum 2.0 Grade Point Average in order to participate in the band program. (NOTE: A minimum 2.3 Grade Point Average is required to receive a band award)
3.Must apply for membership through the Director of Bands and Assistant Director of Bands.
4.Must complete a successful audition.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Non-Music majors who receive a band award must enroll in Marching Band: MUS 113M-413M in the fall semester. Music majors who receive a band award must enroll in Marching Band: MUS 113M-MUS 413M AND Instrumental Ensemble: MUS 113I-414I in the Fall semester.
Non-Music majors who receive a band award must enroll in Pep Band MUS 114P-414P in the spring semester.Music majors who receive a band award must enroll in Instrumental Ensemble MUS 113I-414I AND Pep Band MUS 114P-414P, Jazz Ensemble MUS 114Z-414Z, Brass Ensemble MUS 113B-MUS 413B, OR Woodwind Ensemble MUS 113W-MUS 414W for the Spring semester.
Students must maintain a 2.3 GPA in order to keep their award.
